New Case Study Shows How the Busiest and Most Efficient Airport in the World is Meeting SMS Regulations

Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport claims the title as “the busiest and most efficient airport in the world.” An airport of this size and complexity requires a robust and flexible Safety Management System (SMS), and for this, ATL counts on Civix.

The airport is using Civix’s SMS software to not only comply with regulations – including the new SMS Rule issued by the FAA in February – but also to report and mitigate safety issues before they become costly. A new case study shows how the SMS is keeping ATL safe and compliant.

In it, ATL’s Aviation Safety Management System Manager Scott Ayers says the Civix SMS has “improved efficiency, ensured compliance, saved costs, and of course, made our airport safer.”
