The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Moves to One ASOCS Database
Achieving Streamlined Analytics, Safety and Operations Metrics, and Regulatory Compliance
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ), which manages JFK, LaGuardia, Newark, NY Stewart and Teterboro airports, serves millions of passengers each day requiring the highest levels of security and operational efficiency.
PANYNJ selected the Civix Airport Safety & Operations Compliance System (ASOCS) in 1999, and recently moved to one consolidated database, from four, to allow for better analytics and metrics for the airport system.
The airports now operate under one solution to complete required regulatory inspections, identify discrepancies, assign work responsibilities to the appropriate maintenance staff member, and track work orders to completion.
The consolidated database provides tools and the ability to be proactive by analyzing critical operational information as a system of airports rather than individually, as in the past.
Congratulations to the PANYNJ staff! Civix is proud to assist each airport in this transformation, and we are honored to be part of the larger team working to keep the region’s transportation network running smoothly and safely.
