Preparing for WCAG 2.1 AA Alignment Across the Civix Platform

METAIRIE, LA – As public entities prepare for evolving digital accessibility requirements, Civix is actively aligning its GovTech platforms to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards.

Our focus is not only on achieving compliance, but on delivering systems that are accessible, usable, and inclusive for all constituents.

Our Approach

Civix’s approach is designed to support agencies in meeting accessibility expectations with confidence:

  • Ongoing alignment with WCAG 2.1 AA standards
  • Reduced compliance risk as requirements take effect
  • Improved usability across constituent-facing systems
  • A structured, proactive approach to accessibility across all products

Platform-Wide Commitment

Accessibility is integrated across the Civix software development lifecycle—from design through release and ongoing updates. This includes:

  • Automated accessibility scanning
  • Manual validation and usability testing
  • Third-party review and verification
  • Continuous monitoring and iteration
