Mississippi Secretary of State Selects Civix to Modernize Business Services Platform
METAIRIE, LA – The Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office (MSOS) has selected Civix, a leading provider of cloud-based government software, to implement its Go Register business services platform. The new system will replace multiple legacy applications with a single, modern platform spanning Corporations, Uniform Commercial Code (UCC), Securities, PreNeed and Perpetual Care Cemeteries, Public Records, Revenue Receipting, and Examinations and Investigations.
Through this implementation, Mississippi gains a citizen-focused, mobile-friendly portal that simplifies filings, reduces call volumes, and streamlines workflows for both filers and administrators. The platform will also integrate with key external systems, ensuring a connected and efficient experience across state operations.
Delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS), Go Register is built to stay ahead – continuously updated with the latest features, eliminating the costly cycle of large-scale replacements. Hosted in a secure cloud environment and safeguarded by comprehensive security measures, the platform offers the highest levels of protection and data confidentiality. “From our first business services implementation in 2002 to this new partnership with Mississippi, Civix has demonstrated the expertise and perseverance it takes to keep complex systems running smoothly across decades of change,” said Phillip Braithwaite, CEO of Civix. “We are honored to support Mississippi in bringing secure, scalable, and sustainable modernization to the Mississippi Secretary of State’s Office.”
The project will include a secure migration of historical data and a collaborative rollout with MSOS staff. Once complete, Mississippi will join eight states nationwide now using Civix Go Register to power business services.
