Create Online Profiles with User Privileges

The Civix Filing Authority allows people to create online user accounts and roles.  An “owner,” the top-tier user role, can assign users a variety of privileges, each with varying levels of filing and viewing permissions. The entire process is performed online by users without any need for the state to be involved.

Update Filing Authority on Any Number of Business Registration Records – All at Once

This new feature easily accommodates bulk filers and registered agents that manage large portfolios.

For legacy entities, we simply import a list of their filers into the system and assign permissions.

The Filing Authority also allows “owners” to make bulk changes to user privileges, allowing assignments to be made to all designated users and entities with a single action.

Easy Login with Robust Identity and Access Management

Proving one’s digital identity is difficult. And the process for proving someone is who they claim to be is rife with opportunities for fraud. The stakes are especially high for online business filings. That’s why, in conjunction with Filing Authority, Civix uses a robust Identity and Access Management (IAM) program to prevent bad actors from accessing business registration systems.

Civix partners with Equifax and Experian to rapidly authenticate the identity of applicants based on definitive data sources, and Identity Assurance is met when it is determined that an applicant is who they claim to be. If they meet this threshold, then they become a registered user with login credentials. Varying levels of authentication rely on additional data that is difficult to produce, except by that specific person, to re-enter the system with those login credentials.
