Civix Partners with Oklahoma Ethics Commission to Advance Campaign Finance Transparency

METAIRIE, LA – Civix is proud to partner with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission to support the state’s campaign finance reporting system.

Civix originally developed the Commission’s Guardian campaign finance filing system, which served as Oklahoma’s reporting platform for many years. When the Commission encountered challenges during a transition to a new filing system, Civix quickly stepped in to help stabilize operations and get the system back online.

Working closely with Commission staff, Civix restored the Guardian system and ensured campaign finance filings could continue without disruption while maintaining public access to disclosure data. Through strong coordination between the Commission and the Civix team, the backlog of campaign finance reports was cleared by January 31.

With filing operations stabilized, Civix is now working with the Oklahoma Ethics Commission to implement enhancements to ensure the system meets  new legislative requirements.

The Commission’s current agreement with Civix provides the opportunity to maintain reliable operations while evaluating long-term modernization opportunities for Oklahoma’s campaign finance system.
