POLICY SOLUTIONS

Leveraging Funding for Maximum Impact

While HUD funding often requires significant administrative capacity and regulatory knowledge to successfully manage, it can also be used in conjunction with other local, state, and federal funding sources to maximize efforts to effectively and efficiently prevent and end homelessness. Civix has experience working directly with local, state, and federal agencies and has helped numerous grantees to combine HUD funds with other sources in compliance with multi-agency regulations.

We provide communities with technical assistance to help them successfully secure and increase their levels of competitive HUD funding, including through assistance with local Continuum of Care competition management, development and review of CoC applications and projects, and guidance on HUD scoring priorities, policies, and recommendations.
